1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Compliance Copilot ("the Service"), operated by BridgeGRC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Compliance Copilot is an AI-assisted compliance gap analysis tool. You upload documents, select a compliance standard, and receive an automated analysis report. The Service is provided on a credit-based usage model.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person or organization. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

4. Credits & Usage

• New accounts receive an initial credit balance as specified at the time of registration.
• Credits are consumed when you run compliance analyses, based on the number of controls analyzed and tokens processed.
• Free credits are non-transferable and may expire per our policies.
• Additional credits may be purchased when available. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

5. Your Data & Documents

• You retain all ownership rights to documents you upload.
• You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
• We do not sell your documents or analysis results to third parties.
• Documents and analysis data are stored securely and are accessible only to you and authorized system administrators.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you submit.

6. AI-Generated Analysis

• Analysis results are generated by AI models and are provided for informational purposes only.
• Results do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice.
• You should independently verify all findings and consult qualified professionals before making compliance decisions.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any analysis output.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload malicious files, malware, or content that violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
• Create automated accounts or use bots to consume credits.
• Share your account credentials with others.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeGRC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your uploaded documents and analysis data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
